Puerto Banus

Puerto Banus, or sometimes called by it’s full name Puerto Jose Banus, is a marina in Marbella on Spain´s Costa del Sol in the south east of the country.

The region – unsurprisingly given the name - is famed for its sunny weather. Puerto Banus was built in 1970 as a luxury marina for yacht owners, and takes its name from the architect who designed it.

In lively, trendy Puerto Banus you’re just a short stroll away from the designer boutiques, restaurants, cafés, super yachts and nightclubs where Europe’s elite comes to play, yet also private in a beautiful section of beach with fantastic views across the Mediterranean Sea.

If you like walking, try the coastal walk which starts in San Pedro via Puerto Banus and ends in Marbella (approx 15 km).

The local Mistral Beach is ideal for families. If you rather sip cocktails whilst you sun bathe we recommend Ocean Club or Buddha Beach.

Just a short walk from the marina is Centro Plaza where you find shops, restaurants, cinema, banks and supermarket. You are also close to The Marbella Casino and shopping centers like El Corte Ingles and Marina Banus.
